Back to school! Thousands of kids will be heading back to school, that means more traffic!!  Yes!  Upon all the construction, we will have hundreds of cars on the road again.  Please drive with aloha!  Head out a little earlier than normal, drive slower.  Bring a book or magazine that you can read if you should reach your destination early!  Avoid the traffic and have breakfast near your destination!  If you should have any questions feel free to contact your community policing team!

PEDESTRIAN SAFETY MONTH

Please drive with Aloha and watch for pedestrians!

Remember to allow the pedestrians to complete the cross walk area before continuing!

On August 20th, some of the students from Waipahu Elementary along with Mr. Dela Cruz, assisted HPD in sign waving in front of their school for pedestrian safety month! Great job!

On Monday, August 18th, we assisted the Waikele Community Association and various NSW groups for pedestrian awareness month! Thanks Crystal Lee for the photo.
