The District 5 (Kalihi) Community Policing Team implements a strategy of policing that focuses on our department in building ties and working closely with members of our community.  Our team uses the philosophy that promotes organizational strategies that support the systematic use of partnerships and problem-solving techniques to proactively address the immediate conditions that give rise to public safety such as crime, social disorder, and fear of crime.

We also provide tours of our Kalihi Police Station and the opportunity to ride-a-long with one of our police officers as they patrol the district (by appointment only).  Please call our office to inquire for rules and regulations.

 

Speakers and other services MUST be requested by completing our online form . We recommend that requests be submitted at least TWO (2) WEEKS prior to the date of the event.

*** TRAFFIC ALERT *** Parade route starts at Kalihi Union Church located at 2214 N. King Street (heading east), then southbound on Mokauea St., turns eastbound on Dillingham Blvd., proceeding northbound on Waiakamilo Rd. to Houghtailing St., finally ending westbound at Kamehameha Shopping Center.

Watch for our Kalihi Community Policing Team & patrol officers on their brand new Cannondale bicycles within the district! They'll be patrolling schools, residential, and business areas. For information, contact our office at (808) 723-8231.
