As part of the ongoing effort to place the homeless in shelter, District 7 CPT and District 6 CPT conducted an outreach operation at Crane Park. Providers on this day were Ohana Services, Kalihi Palama and Veterans Affairs who spoke to the homeless at Crane.

Mahalo to Kahala Elementary for hosting a Career Day! The East Honolulu CPT had a great time speaking to the children and answering their questions.

Crime Specialist Angela from the Attorney General's Office presented a Anti-Bullying presentation to the freshmen class of Kalani High School. District 7 CPT also participated to elaborate on the criminal penalties of bullying.

The District 7 CPT and K-9 Unit visited the Hawaii Kai Learning Center. The children and staff enjoyed the K-9 demonstration and the HPD vehicle displays.

Peace, Empathy, Acceptance, Respect & Love are the qualities that we would want our Keiki to exemplify everyday. HPD and many other community groups participated in the PEARL rally to spread this theme in our schools.

Mahalo to the St. Louis Heights Community Association for their active participation in beautifying Kalaepohaku Park. With the help of HPD and their members they collected 12 bags of litter and trimmings. Great Job!

The District 7 CPT attended the Wilson Elementary Career Day and had a fabulous time with the students. Many of the youngsters are very interested in becoming a Honolulu Police Officer. Mahalo to the Wilson Staff for the invitation and terrific refreshments.

Mahalo to the Hahaione NSW for their interest in starting a Citizen Patrol for their community. One of the best ways to prevent crimes is to form a group and participate in a Citizen Patrol. Excellent Work Hahaione!

The District 7 CPT presented an Active Threat Presentation to the staff members of the Cole Academy to educate awareness on this subject. Mahalo to Emily and the Cole Staff for a great day of learning!

For the first time, District 7 presented Meet The Major. This is an event to build the relationship with our East Honolulu Communities, a chance to engage in discussion with Acting Major Gordon Lum Kee and the executive officers of the district. Be on the lookout for the next meeting!

District 7 CPT officers showcased a Say Hi presentation for the children at Kilauea Ohana Preschool. The officers had an excellent time presenting to the children.

The District 7 CPT officers participated in a career day speaking event at the Hawaii School for the Deaf and Blind. Many interesting questions were asked and the officers learned a lot from the students as well.

District 7 CPT presented a Say Hi to the children at the Hawaii School for the Deaf and Blind. The children were very excited in meeting the officers and asked many questions.

District 7 Officers participated in a Say Hi with the K-9 Unit from the Narcotics Division. The children had a great time meeting the officers and meeting the HPD canines.

Be a Buddy, Not a Bully! District 7 CPT Officers, with Crime Stoppers and the Attorney General Office partnered in educating the 6th graders at Kaimuki Middle to STOP the Bullying!

On 1-23-19 District 7 CPT officers, Koko Head Lions and the students of Hahaione held a Community Traffic Awareness Program event to educate the drivers in this community on driving safely. Please Drive With Aloha!

The District 7 CPT with our partners from Kamiloiki Elementary, Farmers Insurance and the Koko Head Lions held a CTAP event to educate the drivers in this area to Please Drive Safely!

The Honolulu Police Department conducted a HELP outreach in the areas from Pokai Bay to Hau Bush. It was the first time using this new outreach program to help the homeless in this rural area.

The District 7 CPT would like to wish everyone a very Happy and Safe Holiday Season! The final appearance of the Jolly Patrol Car was seen at the Moili'ili Christmas Parade. Mahalo to all for their hard work during the parades.

Dashing through the rainbows and valleys the Jolly Patrol Car was seen once again at the Manoa Christmas Parade. Be on the lookout for the last appearance of the Jolly Patrol Car at the Moiliili Christmas Parade.

The Children at Angels at Play Preschool were treated to a Say Hi Presentation from the District 7 CPT, Solo Bike Team and the K-9 Narco Vice Unit. It was fun and educational day for the children.

The District 7 Jolly Patrol Car was part of the Kaimuki Christmas Parade. Officers had fun extending holiday well wishes to the community.

District 7 CPT Officers held their annual Shop With A Cop event on a bright Hawaiian Christmas day. The officers had a fun time shopping with these special children. Mahalo to Kahala Mall, McDonalds and to all the officers that volunteered to make this a joyous event! Mele Kalikimaka!
