The District 7 Community Policing Team is dedicated in building partnerships with community members to identify specific concerns within their communities. The District 7 Community Policing Team strives to work with community members to find effective solutions to their concerns.

Thank you to the staff at Kaimuki Middle for inviting Crime Specialist Angela from the Attorney General's Office and the District 7 CPT for hosting an Anti-Bullying Presentation. Mahalo to the faculty for the delicious snacks!

Mahalo to the Aina Haina Elementary Faculty and Students for a great event. This was a great way for Aina Haina Elementary to connect all their community partners with each other thus creating better bonds and to share some Aloha with all.

Mahalo to the residents of Campbell Avenue for creating a Neighborhood Security Watch program. Together we can prevent crime!

Mahalo to the staff of Aina Haina McDonald's for hosting a Coffee With A Cop with the District 7 Officers. The officers had a great time "Talking Story" with the public. Please join us at our next Coffee With A Cop event!

Mahalo to all for their patience during the Maunakea Protest Convoy. The District 7 and District 5 Civil Affairs Team communicated with organizers to ensure a safe demonstration.

Mahalo to all Lion Club Members and the Kaiser Cyber Lions for a great E-Waste recycling event! The project collected 16 pallets of electronic waste from the East Honolulu area.

The District 7 CPT conducted outreach to the homeless on the cliffs of Diamond Head. The dangerous terrain did not stop them from doing their best in servicing the community.

Mahalo to the staff at UH Manoa for hosting a emergency preparedness fair for the students. The District 7 CPT hosted an informational booth about crime prevention and met many students who wanted to know about becoming an HPD Officer.

Mahalo to the Ainakoa neighborhood for starting a Neighborhood Security Watch for their community. With more Eyes & Ears we can prevent crime from happening together!

Mahalo to all that donated to the Hawaii Special Olympics at the Cop On Top events. Your proceeds will help our local special athletes reach their athletic goals. MAHALO!

Mahalo to Principal Kusada, Farmers Insurance, Manoa Lions and the Manoa Elementary Ohana for participating in a traffic awareness event. Safe Driving is everyone's responsibility!

Officers from District 2, District 7 and DARE provided a Meet & Greet Booth for the National Night Out at Schofield Barracks. The children had a great time sitting in the DARE Patrol car and talking with the officers.

Mahalo to the residents on Kapahulu Avenue Private Lane in starting a Neighborhood Security Watch for their area. Great Job to Tim for stepping up and being the lead coordinator!

Mahalo to Kahala Mall for hosting a Keiki Day! The officers from East Honolulu and Waikiki worked together in providing Keiki ID's for this event. A special thank you to Hamada Financial for their volunteers and support!

Mahalo to Iolani School for inviting HPD to showcase some of the awesome things we do. The K-9 Unit did a great job presenting their dogs, while the Solo Bike Officers spoke about traffic safety and the District 7 CPT answered many questions about the work officers do everyday.

The District 7 CPT presented a Say Hi to the students and staff of the Kilauea Summer Fun. The children had many questions for the officers and enjoyed viewing a real HPD patrol car.

The children at Central Union Church Preschool were so excited to meet officers from District 7 and from the K-9 Unit. The children got to see an excellent demo from the K-9 Team and view a real HPD Patrol car.

Officer Holden presented a SCAM prevention presentation to the parishioners of Calvary by the Sea Chapel. The group had great questions for the officers and received great information on keeping financially safe.

The District 7 CPT presented a "Say Hi" to the preschoolers of Waiokeola. The children were excited in getting to sit in a real police car and speaking to the officers. Mahalo to Waiokeola for the leis and awesome snacks!

In following the HELP program created by HPD, various outreach organizations joined up to canvas the areas of Waikiki, Old Stadium Park, Crane Park and Moiliili Field to offer assistance and shelter for the homeless. Mahalo to all for your perseverance!

Mahalo to the Jasmine Street Neighborhood Security Watch for hosting a revitalization meeting. There was delicious food and the sharing of information on criminal activity for their neighborhood. It was a most productive meeting and if you would like a revitalization of your NSW please contact your Community Policing Team!

District 7 Community Policing Team and Walk Wise Hawaii promoted safe walking to the children at Kanewai Summer Fun. Walk Wise demonstrated the proper ways to use the crosswalks and passed out high visibility vests for the children. The officers highlighted pedestrian laws and spoke about being good citizens when walking.

Mahalo to the Kamiloiki Community for their interest in starting up a Neighborhood Security Watch. The NSW program is a great way for a community to prevent crime. Mahalo to Kenji and the Kamiloiki Community.
