The District 7 Community Policing Team is dedicated in building partnerships with community members to identify specific concerns within their communities. The District 7 Community Policing Team strives to work with community members to find effective solutions to their concerns.

The District 7 CPT and HPD Career Center participated with the annual Pa'ani Challenge at Punahou School. This event focuses on sportsmanship in girl's wrestling and provides a session about life after high school. What would you like to do after high school graduation? HPD is a great option!

Officer Brandon of the District 7 CPT was promoted to Chief Warrant Officer Three for the Hawaii National Guard. Congratulations Brandon and Mahalo for your service to our country!

The District 7 CPT presented to the Manoa Hillside Community about being proactive with crime prevention. This community had great questions about safety and will be more aware of their surroundings.

Mahalo to the 4th and 5th grade students of Kuhio Elementary for being a great audience as the Attorney General's Office and District 7 CPT presented on Cyber Safety. All of us should be practicing safety while using the internet.

Mahalo to our District 7 communities who attended the Christmas parades and to all who waited patiently in traffic. Rudolph the Patrol Car has returned to the North Pole and on behalf of the District 7 CPT, wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

The District 7 CPT were invited to speak to the elementary students about a career as a police officer. The students had many questions and were very excited to meet the officers.

The District 7 CPT were invited to speak about personal safety to these unique students. Many had questions about texting 911 for help or reporting crimes. The students were thankful that HPD has a way to communicate with the hearing impaired.

Mahalo to the Surf Rider Foundation and to Fannie for taking lead in creating a very unique Neighborhood Security Watch for Diamond Head Beach Park. With active participation from the community we can prevent crime by being Eyes & Ears to report suspicious activity. Great Job Fannie!

A very big Mahalo to all of the officers who volunteered to shop with a special child at the 2019 Shop With A Cop event held at Kahala Mall. The officers and children had a merry time and a special thank you to KAHALA MALL for their partnership! Mele Kalikimaka!

Mahalo to the students of Kalani High School for hosting a Health and Safety Fair. The District 7 CPT provided Keiki Print Cards for the children and answered many questions about personal safety. Great Job Falcons!

The District 7 CPT participated in the Kaimuki High School Career Day seminar. The students had great questions about joining HPD! Mahalo Bulldogs!

Happy Holidays! Mahalo to the Hawaii Kai Lions Club for sponsoring the Hawaii Kai Christmas Parade. The District 7 CPT and Executive Staff had a jolly time passing out candy to the children. Be on the lookout for the next Christmas Parade!

Mahalo to Palolo Elementary for inviting the District 7 CPT for lunch with the 5th grade students. The students had many questions for the officers and the officers had an excellent time with them.

The Honolulu Board Of Realtors invited the District 7 CPT to present an Active Threat presentation. The realtors gained awareness that these types of incidents do happen and can happen here in Hawaii.

Mahalo to Shirleyanne and Carol for hosting an NSW Start Up Meeting. The residents are excited to get organized as a community to prevent crime.

The District 7 CPT participated in a mock lockdown drill at Maryknoll School. The staff of Maryknoll did an outstanding job in following their procedures. Also the students followed instructions perfectly from their teachers. Great Job Maryknoll!

The District 7 CPT presented a Say Hi to the Kindergarteners of Kamiloiki Elementary. The Children were very excited to view a real police vehicle and they had a list of questions for the officers.

Officers from the District 7 CPT presented an Active Threat Presentation to the staff of Calvary By the Sea Preschool. The staff had many great questions and were very intrigued with the presentation.

Mahalo to Hahaione Elementary for inviting the Officers from District 7 CPT to talk about their jobs. The children had a great time and got a special presentation from the Narcotics K-9 Unit as well. Mahalo to Hahaione Staff for the delicious treats!

District 7 CPT Officers presented to the Garden Club of Ala Wai Community Park about Crime Prevention. Many gardeners thanked the officers in keeping their park safe.

Mahalo to Ali'iolani Elementary for inviting the District 7 Community Policing Team in hosting a Meet & Greet Booth at their fair. Many children visited the officers with questions about their job and to view a real patrol car.

Mahalo to Michelle for coordinating a NSW Start Up Information meeting. This was a great night for this community to connect and communicate about organizing their community to prevent crime.

ALOHA! A word that all of us should live by. Mahalo to Angela from the Attorney General's Office as she co-presented with D7 CPT Officers to the students at Anuenue Charter School on not being a bully. Mahalo Anuenue School!

Mahalo to our Jaguar friends who hosted a traffic education event fronting their school. Also Thank You to Farmers Hawaii for their participation.
