Failure to Render Aid Suspect Arrested


UPDATE: CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating Steven Headington, who was wanted for Failure to Render Aid.

On Thursday, June 7, 2018, at about 2:15 p.m., Honolulu Police Officers located Steven Headington in the Makaha area. He was placed under arrest for Failure to Render Aid and Unauthorized Control of Propelled Vehicle.

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Steven Headington, who is wanted for Failure to Render Aid.

On Monday, May 21, 2018, at approximately 4:05 a.m., a single-vehicle motor vehicle collision occurred on the H-1 freeway, Westbound near the Wilder Avenue off-ramp involving a Toyota truck. As a result of the collision, one of the occupants were ejected onto the roadway, and later died. Another occupant of the truck sustained serious injuries. The driver of the truck fled the scene on foot. Through police investigation, the driver of the Toyota has been identified as Steven Headington.
