Attempted Murder Suspect Arrested


UPDATE: CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating Theodore Kim, who was wanted for Attempted Murder in the First Degree.

On Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at approximately 8:50 a.m., HPD officers responded to the Manoa area after a witness observed Kim and called for police. Officers located Kim and placed him under arrest for a $20,000 Bench Warrant. Charges for the Attempted Murder in the First Degree case are pending.

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Theodore Kim, who is wanted for Attempted Murder in the First Degree.

On Sunday, September 29, 2019 at approximately 1:45 p.m., the victim was crossing Sand Island Access Road when a male approached her and told her to come with him. The victim refused and walked away towards a bus stop. The male then fired three shots from a shotgun at the victim but the victim was able to flee. The male then fled in a gray 1998 Ford Ranger pick-up truck with a gray camper bearing Hawaii license plates GTU-725. Through the investigation, the male has been positively identified as Theodore Kim.
