On Thursday, May 13, 2021, 53 year old Eric Stroeve was charged for Arson in the First Degree. Bail has been set at $100,000.
UPDATE 5/12/21: Arson Suspect Arrested
On Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at approximately 7:04 p.m., HPD officers located a 53-year-old male on Queen Street and placed him under arrest for Arson in the First Degree. Charges are pending. Thank you for your assistance!
News Release 5/11/21: CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male who is wanted for Arson in the First Degree.
On Monday, May 11, 2021, at approximately 1:00 a.m., a male started a fire at the Hawaii Supreme Court building located at 417 South King Street causing over $20,000 in damage.
