Update 2/8/22: CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating Scott Deangelo who was wanted for second-degree murder. Deangelo was located on February 8, 2022 at approximately 5:45 p.m. in the Laie area. He was subsequently placed under arrest for second-degree murder.

Original Post 2/8/22: CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department (HPD) are asking for the public’s help in locating Scott Deangelo, who is wanted for second-degree murder.
On Monday, February 7, 2022, at approximately 9:51 p.m., HPD officers co-responded to a residential fire call with the Honolulu Fire Department located at 906 Lehua Avenue #407. After the fire was extinguished, a male victim was discovered within the residence with suspicious injuries. Witnesses reportedly saw a male climb out of a window and flee the scene in a white SUV.
An autopsy was conducted and the manner of death was determined to be homicide. Through investigation, the suspect was positively identified as Scott Deangelo. He reportedly fled the scene with a firearm, which has not been recovered. Deangelo should be considered armed and dangerous.
