CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying a male wanted for first-degree attempted murder in connection to a shooting that happened in the Waikiki area.

On Sunday, February 6, 2022, at approximately 3:55 a.m., a family was delivering newspapers in the area of Nahua Street and Kuhio Avenue when they observed an assault taking place. When the family went to intervene, a male handed a firearm to another male who then shot at the family’s vehicle numerous times. Through the investigation, the shooter was identified and placed under arrest for first-degree attempted murder. Investigators are now trying to identify and locate the male who handed the firearm and two other males who were in accompany with them.
