help attain its goals and objectives.

DEFINITIONS

Goals: Broad statements that identify what is ultimately to be achieved.

Objectives: Measurable steps that are taken to achieve goals.

ANNUAL REVIEW AND EVALUATION

A. Goals and objectives shall be reviewed
and updated at least once a year for each
division and for the department as a whole
in a manner prescribed by the Chief of Police.

B. Progress toward attainment of goals and
objectives will be evaluated at least once
a year in a manner prescribed by the Chief of Police.

C. The established goals and objectives are
to be made available to all affected personnel.
