A free, family festival in Chinatown to celebrate the 2023 Lunar New year and Chinese New Year. Chinese New Year falls on the following Sunday, January 22, 2023, and is the year of the Rabbit.

The 2023 Lunar New Year parade starts at the Hawaii State Capitol lawn with participants marching along Hotel Street, where they enter Honolulu Chinatown and are brought to the Night in Chinatown Festival along Beretania Street, and A’ala Park.
