CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department would like to inform the public about an increase of recent business burglaries occurring due to the suspect obtaining keys from lockboxes.

There have been cases recently where businesses were burglarized after the suspect broke open key lockboxes and used the key to enter the business. Business owners are urged to refrain from leaving spare keys in a lockbox. Consider having a designated employee to be in possession of the spare keys and consider having delivery times adjusted to when an employee will be
present.
