On September 2, 1999, Hahn Soo Kim, a 41-year-old taxi driver was discovered sitting in his taxi at Kailua Beach Park with the lights on and engine running. Reports indicate he sustained a gunshot wound to his head.  Kim’s taxi was a 1984 Buick LeSabre station wagon, brown in color, bearing Hawaii License Plate FTN-306.
