CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in locating witnesses and identifying the suspect(s) in a Murder in the Second Degree case that happened in the Halawa area.

On Monday, December 25, 2023, at approximately 3:45 a.m., the victim was an occupant in a white sedan with friends, when they left the Puuwai Momi Housing Complex. As the sedan exited the parking lot of the complex onto Kamehameha Highway, an unknown male shot at the sedan. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and was later pronounced deceased from the injuries sustained from a gunshot wound.
