In the early morning hours of November 10, 1999, 45-year-old Efnet Alfred Haro was found near the Kuhio Park Terrace Family Center with severe head injuries. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition and died later that day. Haro had been at a relative’s residence in KPT and may have been walking between the buildings to visit another relative. Some of Haro’s property was reported to be missing when he was found.
