The City and County of Honolulu’s Department of Facility Maintenance, Storm Water Quality Division and the Waikiki Aquarium and are excited to announce that the 14th Annual Mauka to Makai Environmental Expo will continue this year in a virtual format.  To give families important educational resources in the spirit of Mauka to Makai, online resources have been pulled from various partners featuring videos and activities. There will be special presentations each Saturday starting April 10, 2021. Families can check the website for new content from our partners each week across three categories: Mauka, Makai and Culture. There is also an events calendar in which there are several online and in-person events from various partners and includes a number of volunteer opportunities.

The Waikiki Aquarium is also providing swag bags with information and activities for families to pick up.  Register for the complimentary native plant giveaway (courtesy of The Garden Club) and swag bag pick-up! Sign up today for pick-up on April 22 between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Waikīkī Aquarium. Swag bags include educational materials, keiki activities, Honolulu Police Department coloring books and more! Items available while supplies last. One native plant and swag bag offered per family.
