The National Take-Back Initiative is sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Administration to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means to dispose of prescription drugs while educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.

The following locations have been designated as take-back locations and will operate from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 22, 2023:

• Hawaii State Capitol
• Honolulu Fire Department, Station 18, Kailua
• Honolulu Police Department, Pearl City Station
• Times Supermarket – Kahala (parking lot)
• Ka Makana Ali`i
