UPDATE: CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating Chauncey Lopes, who was wanted for Escape in the Second Degree. State Sheriff Deputies were able to locate Lopes on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 8:15 a.m., in the Kaneohe area.

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Chauncey Lopes, who is wanted for Escape in the Second Degree. On Sunday, September 15, 2024, at 9:00 p.m., Lopes failed to return to the Oahu Community Correctional Center after receiving a work furlough pass for the day.
