District 3 Community Policing Team officers visit Second Graders at Lehua Elementary School, March 25, 2025

March 27, 2025

  • District 3 officers with the Community Policing Team visited second graders at Lehua Elementary School in Pearl City. Officers allowed the students an up-close view of one of our HPD vehicles. The officers explained how the vehicle is like an office to us, just as a classroom is to them—officers have to respond to a wide variety of cases, and we need to carry everything with us. We even type out police reports in them. A police car is a valuable tool for an officer and helps us to protect and serve our communities.
