Update on October 4, 2024: CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating Sung Kwak. He was located on Friday, October 4, 2024, at approximately 5:00 p.m. in the Kapiolani area. He is now safe with his family and friends.

News Release on October 4, 2024: CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Sung Kwak who may be emotionally distraught. He was last seen at his residence in the Pearl City area on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at about 1:00 p.m. His cell phone was later found on Friday, October 4, 2024 in the Waikiki area. Kwak may be possibly driving a 2001 Honda 2 door coupe, white in color, bearing Hawaii license plates TZP-394. His family and friends are concerned for his safety and well-being.
