On March 5, 2025, at about 8:20 PM, a serious motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle occurred on Farrington Highway, in the Waianae area.
It was reported to the Honolulu Police Department, Traffic Division, Vehicular Homicide Section, that 45-year-old male motorcyclist was traveling westbound on Farrington Highway when he broadsided an unidentified motorist who disregarded a stop sign and then proceeded westbound on Farrington Highway without stopping to render aid or provide information.
As a result of the collision, the 45-year-old male motorcyclist was ejected onto the roadway and subsequently transported to an area hospital in serious condition.
The 45-year-old male motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
At this time, it is unknown if speed, alcohol, or drugs are factors in this collision.
