Several juveniles were cited for e-bike-related violations at Keolu Hills Skateboard Park yesterday afternoon after a juvenile was observed popping a wheelie on the sidewalk on Keolu Drive, forcing pedestrians to jump out of the way. One of the juveniles, a 14-year-old, refused to get off his e-bike and shoved an officer and resisted arrest. In addition to being cited for e-bike violations, the teen was arrested for refusing to stop a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, and harassing a police officer. While waiting to be transported, the suspect suffered self-inflicted injuries and was taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
